The Conference Of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) - Dallas Chapter strongly supports the mission of the organization by promoting, strengthening and expanding the roles of minorities in all aspects of transportation. Our scholarships vary and range from $500 to $5,000 to deserving students. The selections are made annually by a team of industry professionals and representatives.
COMTO Dallas hosts an annual golf tournament as the major fundraiser for the scholarship resources for deserving students. Information will be posted regarding the upcoming 2011 application process. Additionally, the scholarship recipients will participate in the Dallas Chapter's Scholarship Banquet along with our sponsors and contributors.

We will honor four (4) professionals whose organizations who supported the Dallas COMTO transportation initiatives over the years. These individuals will also be honored during the 2011 Annual Scholarship Banquet along with the distribution of one scholarship each in their organization's name to a deserving student. Additional Platinum Sponsor scholarships will be awarded in their respective company names for very deserving students.
